What’s New in Pre-Alpha 6

Our biggest update so far is here. Blokoto Pre 6 brings major systems online and redefines how players interact, build, and play.

New Chat Bubble System

The chat system has been completely rebuilt. Messages now appear as animated bubbles above players, with improved visibility, smoother animations, and styles you can customize. Chat bubbles now also hide behind walls.

Screenshot Sharing System

You can now capture and share your moments! The brand-new screenshot system lets you take clean in-game images and share them in your feed.

Movement Changes

Movement is now handled entirely on the server. This means fairer, more consistent gameplay, whether you're jumping across platforms or in the middle of a fight. This is an anti-cheating measure and can change how the game plays and the overall feel of it. We will make sure to keep it fair and smooth, but this will probably be a little bit laggy in this update.

Characters can now walk throught stairs without needing to jump

Weapons Arrive

The first weapon has been added to the game. It includes shooting mechanics with visual impacts, reloading, hit feedback, and kill sounds. Weapons are synced server-side to ensure fair fights and precise hit registration.

More weapons and customization will come soon.

Killfeed

You can now see in real-time the players that are frequently dying.

Join and exit messages

The server now displays messages in the chat when players join or leave the game.

Health Packs

Health Packs can now be added to your worlds. They respawn and can be collected to restore health.

Mouse and Edit Mode Fixes

Mouse input during editing is now clean and responsive. All prior bugs with clicking, dragging, or interacting in the editor have been resolved. You can now build and move objects with confidence.

Redesigned Create Object Interface

The object creation menu has been redesigned to be clearer and more accessible.

Avatar Editor Overhaul

The avatar editor has been updated to a new scenery that is consistent across all systems. The avatar leg bug is also fixed.

New Loading Screen

Loading into a world now presents a refined visual screen with clearer feedback. Transitions should feel faster and more polished.

New Window and Graphics Settings

A new settings menu allows you to properly adjust resolution and toggle fullscreen or windowed modes.

First-Person Controls Improved

Looking around in first-person mode now feels right. Bugs with camera syncing have been fixed, and transitions between views are seamless.

Website Changes

Improved Trending tab

The main category of games has changed to show games that were recently played, instead of just the most played with the ones with current player count as a priority.

New game page design

The game page has changed and now has an improved design. We are working on bringing some new game metrics and leaderboards, stay tunned!

New profile settings page

We have revamped the profile settings to make room for more customization features in the near future.
